(Back) Are there parental controls?
DNL Farms Ltd. does not have parental controls, but there are many safeguards in place to protect against improper use of the service by children. DNL Farms Ltd. requires customers to have to be at least 13 years old to use the service; to be at least 17 years old to rent R-rated and NR (Not Rated) movies; and to be at least 18 to rent NC-17 and NR-18 movies. In addition, DNL Farms Ltd. complies with applicable laws, regulations and industry guidelines regarding film ratings and the targeting of children, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA).
(Back) Can a virus be transmitted by DNL Farms Ltd?
Our strict security practices make it highly unlikely that a virus could be transmitted with our files.
(Back) Can I burn the file to a CD, DVD or other storage devices?
No, our terms of use currently do not permit burning or other copying of the videos, or transferring them to a portable media player. We are currently exploring additional features that will enhance our service.
(Back) Can I cancel or delete my account?
There are no subscriptions and nothing to cancel. You pay only for recharging your account and the balance in your account can be used at any time for "PPV" or "Purchase" of a video.
(Back) Can I download or transfer a movie to a different computer?
Not at this time. However, DNL Farms Ltd. is currently exploring additional features that will enhance our service. We appreciate any feedback you may have.
(Back) Can I rent a video while downloading another?
No. You can view only one movie at a time and have to be on the viewing page until you finish viewing the video
(Back) Can I watch on a Mac?
No. Unfortunately, you can not currently watch any of the videos. This is because of a compatibility issue with the Digital Rights Management (DRM) we use to securely deliver our content.
(Back) Can I watch streaming videos?
YES. DNL Farms Ltd. offers only streaming video. Streaming media is played as it arrives, after buffering the file to your Temporary Internet Folder.
(Back) Do I have to be connected to the Internet to play a downloaded movie?
Yes. The video is delivered to you by Streaming media.
(Back) Do I have to pay a subscription or membership fee?
No. You do not have to pay a subscription or membership fee. You pay only per movie, and there is never anything to cancel.
(Back) How do I unsubscribe from email and newsletters?
Visit the “My Account” section and click on “Unsuscribe to Newsletters” to change your email settings.
(Back) I am having trouble registering, what do I do?
1) Make sure you have completed all of the required fields on the registration form and are using a valid e-mail. 2) Make sure that your “cookies” are enabled. “Cookies” allow DNL Farms Ltd. to keep track of your e-mail, password and most recent connection speed so. In order to enable cookies on your browser, please follow the instructions below. Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or Higher Click on Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom Level Reset the custom settings to “Medium” or change the “Allow cookies” to “enable” Netscape 7.1 or higher Click on Edit > Preferences Choose the Advanced drop down and choose “Accept all Cookies”
(Back) I’m not receiving emails from DNL Farms Ltd.
Some email providers may divert DNL Farms Ltd. email to your Bulk Mail or Spam folders. If you do not know how to adjust your spam settings to allow DNL Farms Ltd. email, contact your email provider for assistance.
(Back) What are accepted forms of payment?
Earth based currency works for us.
(Back) What do I do if my download has "Timed Out"?
If your download indicates that it has "Timed Out" then it may just have been a temporary interruption in the connection. You can resume the download by clicking on the refresh button. If you continue to have trouble or you get the screen asking you to purchase the video again, please e-mail dnlfarms@xplornet.com
(Back) What is “DRM” and how are the videos protected from piracy?
DNL Farms Ltd. uses Digital Rights Management (DRM) software, which is a set of technologies used by content owners and providers to protect copyrights. DRM encrypts digital media content and limits access to only those people who have acquired the right to play the content.
(Back) When does my viewing period begin?
If you have PPV purchased a video, then your viewing period will begin when you first come to the page where you are allowed to download and play the completely downloaded file. You will be able to view the video till you are there on the page.
